4 tracks from the original Spiral Tribe Tekno psychedelia featuring Unit Moebius, originally released in 1995, surgically remastered.

A generous collection of tracks, beautifully representative of the Spiral Tribe world. Coming on strong with “Summertime” a brute force exercise in synthesized rhythm, moving on to trippy dubbed out nuances over medieval bass lines - highly suggestive of time travel. On the flip side things get put back in fast gear with heavy 4 on the floor action propelled by dubbed out hi-hat. Ending with “CPU” which almost sounds like an attempt at shrinking the listener down to the size of an electron traveling inside the circuits of their samplers. Pioneering the distorted dutch techno sounds from The Hague.

Yasuaki is fairly known because of Kakashi, he released plenty of other music thats stunning as well.. This is one those works - having achieved near-mythical status in the last few years, which have seen artists such as Oneohtrix Point Never sing its praise.Originally issued by Crammed in 1987, this is one of the most sought-after releases in our legendary Made To Measure series. Known for his numerous albums, soundtracks, and collaborations with the likes of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Van Dyke Parks, Pierre Barouh, Björk & Elvin Jones, composer & saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu also released, during the 80s, several electronic music productions which are currently generating a lot of interest (a.o. his recently reissued Mariah project). "Music For Commercials" is a brilliant and inventive collection of short pieces, initially conceived for Japanese TV commercials (and bearing sweet titles such as “Seiko”, “Sharp”, “Honda” etc).
Experimental house sounds.
B side is a nice weed-vibe-ish downtempo soul track...
High energy burners from Toyko!
Abstact lo-fi techno. Could inner peace and nature be an inspiration here? 🌾 Headphones on, eyes closed. You'll get there.
